Ping test is a tool that is often used by system administrators: it allows them to check the performance of any host on the network by sending small data packages to it. It can be used for ping-checking of websites, remote computers or servers.
PingSX2 is a tiny utility with an intuitive nice-looking interface that allows you to perform ping tests. Its interface is presented by just one window and all you need to do is define the host address you want to check and click the "Start" button. By the way, you can also define the size of data packages for sending them to remote host. The application monitors the ping process and provides the user with detailed information about it: trip time, return status, ping output status and many more. When you have gained all the required information, just press the "Stop" button to finish the ping test.
It may seem that PingSX2 has a serious lack in functionality, but, in fact, simplicity is its main advantage that provides high speed and quick access. The application is freeware.
